ViewSonic Announces List of QHD Monitors With PS5 Support

ViewSonic has announced its list of QHD (2560 x 1440) monitors that support 4K auto-downscaling for the PlayStation 5. Currently, the PS5 doesn’t natively support 1440p output so regular QHD monitors will end up receiving a 1080p signal from the console that is then upscaled back to 1440p, resulting in a less than optimal image. But ViewSonic has optimized several of their QHD gaming monitors to receive a 4K signal from the PS5 that is auto-downscaled to QHD.

Here’s the list of ViewSonic’s QHD gaming monitors that support 4K auto-downscaling for the PS5:

  • Elite XG270QC
  • Elite XG270Q
  • VX2768-2KPC-mhd
  • VX3268-2KPC-mhd
  • VX2705-2KP-mhd/VX2768-2KP-mhd
  • XG2705-2K

While some of the monitors in the list are currently available in the Philippines, like the Elite XG2470QC, VX2705-2KP-mhd, and the XG2705-2K, the others are set for release in the country in the coming months, such as the ViewSonic Elite XG270Q. More information on ViewSonic’s monitors can be found on the official website and their products are currently available through authorized retailers as well as through their official Lazada and Shopee stores.
