Biwin Is Showcasing Its Latest Storage Solutions at Computex 2025

Biwin has announced that it will at Computex 2025 this week to showcase its latest storage solutions, including its Black Opal series Gen5 SSDs and DDR5 memory kits, and its range of portable SSDs and memory cards.

The Biwin Black Opal X570 PRO and X570 are the company’s latest PCIe Gen 5×4 NVMe M.2 SSDs. The PRO features a 6nm controller, 8-chanel architecture, and 4GB of DRAM cache, as well as read speeds of up to 14,000 MB/s, write speeds up to 13,000 MB/s, and up to 2,000K IOPS. On the other hand, the X570 features a DRAM-less design that is said to be capable of read speeds of up to 14,500 MB/s. It also utilizes a Host Memory Buffer (HMB) and a dynamic SLC cache.

Biwin is also showing off its new Black Opal OC Lab Gold Edition DW100 RGB DDR5 192 GB Memory Kit (48 GB x 4) that will be available in DDR5-6400 CL30 1.4V and DDR5-6000 CL28 1.4V specifications.

Biwin Amber PR2000 Portable SSD, CA400 & CB500 CFexpress 4.0 Memory Cards

Secondly, Biwin’s Amber PR2000 portable SSD features a USB 3.2 Gen2x2 interface that is capable of delivering read speeds of up to 2,000 MB/s and write speeds of up to 1,800 MB/s. It also features IP67-rated water and dust resistance as well as a silicone housing that’s tested for drops up to 3-meters. It’s available in capacities up to 8GB.

Lastly, the new Amber CB500 (Type B) and CA400 (Type A) CFexpress 4.0 memory cards support sustained 8K/12K video recording and come with VPG400 certification, advanced thermal management, and resistance to shocks, dust, x-rays, and extreme temperatures. The CB500 is capable of reads speeds of up to 3,750 MB/s and write speeds up to 3,500 MB/s, while the CA400 delivers up to 1850 MB/s read and 1750 MB/s write speeds.
