Capcom has brought back its Monster Hunter Design Contest, this time for Monster Hunter Wilds. The contest, which will run from June 3 to 24, 2025, gives fans a chance to have their unique weapon or pendant design added to the game.
Entries for the contest, which will feature both a weapon design and pendant design categories, can be submitted from June 3 to 24, 2025. The entries will go through a first round of judging and will move on to a global Player Voting phase from July 11 to 18, 2025. Players who participate in the voting phase will receive a free social media icon.
The top 8 designs per category will be revealed on July 25, 2025, and will each receive an Excellence Award, with their names being listed in the credits of Monster Hunter Wilds. The winner for each category will chosen by the game’s development team and will be announced on September 27, 2025. The winner will see their design be brought to life in the game sometime in early 2026.
Those who want to join the Monster Hunter Wilds Design Contest can do so by submitting their entries by posting it on X/Twitter. Entries will only be accepted from four regions: Japan, the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Entries will need to include the high resolution images of the design and the contest category its for. The post will also need to tag the @capcomasia account and include the #MHWilds and either the #WeaponEntry or #PendantEntry hashtags.
