ASUS has announced that its bringing its new ROG Strix OLED XG32U series gaming monitors to the Philippines soon. The new models, the ROG Strix OLED XG32UCWMG and XG32UCWG, are the world’s first 4K WOLED gaming monitors and come with features such as the company’s True Black Glossy film, one-tap FHD mode, integrated OLED Care Pro suite, Neo Proximity sensor, and more.
The ROG Strix OLED XG32UCWMG and XG32UCWG both feature a 32-inch 4K WOLED panel with a peak brightness of 1000 nits and a 99% DCI-P3 color gamut. The XG32UCWMG has a refresh rate of 240Hz while the XG32UCWG is rated at 165Hz. However, the aforementioned one-top FHD mode or Dual Mode allows users to easily switch the monitors to a 1080p resolution in exchange for a much higher refresh rate, 480Hz for the XG32UCWMG and 330Hz for the XG32UCWG.
The panels of both monitors are also topped with ASUS’s TrueBlack Glossy film, which reduces ambient reflections better than previous-generation glossy WOLED panels. In addition to that, the ASUS Clear Pixel Edge algorithm eliminates the red-green fringing from text and fine lines.
To protect the WOLED panels from issues such as burn-in, the OLED Care Pro suite utilizes occasional pixel refreshes, image shifting, and logo brightness limiting. Then the Neo Promixity sensor automatically dims the screen when the user moves away from the monitor. Furthermore, the XG32U series comes with a three-year burn-in warranty to give users better peace of mind.
Other features of the two new monitors include Extreme Low Motion Blur, OLED Anti-Flicker 2.0, Aspect-Ratio Control, and built-in Auto KVM. The DisplayWidget Center software also allows users change picture modes, adjust the Auto KVM, and check for firmware updates.
Both the XG32UCWMG and XG32UCWG are equipped with two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 connector, a USB-C port with 15-watt power delivery, a USB hub feature, and a headphone jack. Furthermore, the included stand features full tilt, swivel, and height adjustments.
The ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG32UVWMG and XG32UCWG will be available in the Philippines soon. No SRPs for either monitor have been announced as of this writing.
