The realme 8 5G is now available through postpaid plans from both Globe Telecom and Smart Communications. Initially launched at the end of June, the new midrange 5G smartphone from realme sold out within a few hours of it becoming available through the company’s official Shopee store.
The realme 8 5G is powered by a Dimensity 700 processor, 8GB of RAM, and comes with 1280GB of storage. It also features a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with up to 600 nits of brightness and a 90Hz refresh rate, a 5000mAh battery with 18W Type-C quick charge and 5G power saving, a 48-megapixel Nightscape camera, a 16-megapixel Primary primary sensor with AI Beauty Selfie functionality, a 3-card SIM tray that supports up to two SIM cards and one microSD card up to 1TB.
Globe Postpaid is offering the realme 8 5G is available at Plan 999, which comes with 5GB of data, Unli All-Net Texts, and Unli All-Net Calls or Call to DUO and Landline. The postpaid plan also comes with 3GB of free GoWiFi, free KonsultaMD (Individual Subscription), and free GInsure (3 months COVID-19 coverage from Singlife).
On the other hand, the realme 8 5G is available through Smart Signature Plan 999 and comes with 5GB of data, Unli All-Net Texts, Unli All-Net Calls, and 50 minutes of calls to PLDT.
