The Sword Art Online game series is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year and to celebrate the occasion Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced the Sword Art Online Game 10th Anniversary Project.
The company has yet to reveal what the new project is about but a teaser trailer for it has been released which showcases footage from throughout the game series. The teaser trailer also announces that more information about the project will be revealed sometime in July 2023.
Bandai Namco Entertainment also announced the SAO Game Strategy Conference 2023 – CONNECTING as part of the 10th anniversary festivities. The conference will be held sometime in the summer of 2023, with more details to be announced at a later date via the official website.
Lastly, a new Sword Art Online Last Recollection trailer was released, featuring Lisbeth Silica in her Superuser Account form. The new trailer also showcases several other characters as well as a bigger glimpse into the game’s story and gameplay.
Sword Art Online Last Recollection is scheduled for release on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One on October 5, and on PC via Steam on October 6, 2023.
