With the recent launch of Street Fighter V: Champion Edition last February 14, 2020, Capcom has announced another open beta test for the game’s upcoming Tournament Mode. This third open beta test, which will begin on March 15, 2020, from 05:00 AM to 09:00 AM (UTC) will now also be available in Asia.
Those who participate in the open beta will not only be able to try out the upcoming Tournament Mode but will also receive several in-game bonuses including 10 Fortune Tickets as well as a special “Esports Player” title.
Interested participants will have until March 13, 2020, at 09:00 AM (UTC) to register for the open beta. To participate, you must form a 3-man team and sign up on the Capcom Tournament website using either your PlayStation 4 or Steam account (PS4 players will need a PS Plus membership to participate). Sadly, players from Japan, China, Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taiwan won’t be able to participate in this latest open beta.
Participants will also need to join the official Discord server (https://discord.gg/sfv-obt3) where communication for and during the open beta test will take place. Those who don’t have Discord will have to download the program and register a Discord ID before signing up for the open beta test.
