Razer Releases Deathstalker V2 Series Gaming Keyboards, With Low-Profile Optical Switches and Wireless Connectivity

Razer has released its new Deathstalker V2 series gaming keyboards, which include the standard Deathstalker V2, the Deathstalker V2 Pro, and the Deathstalker V2 Pro Tenkeyless. It’s been more than a few years since the company released the original line of Deathstalker keyboards and the revamped series comes with features such as Razer’s low-profile optical switches and HyperSpeed Wireless connectivity.

“The original DeathStalker became a fan favorite due to its innovative chiclet style design and next-level typing feel within a sleek low-profile form factor,” said Chris Mitchell, Head of the PC Gaming Division at Razer. “With the new DeathStalker V2 range, we’ve kept the low-profile aesthetic of the original keyboard, but included our latest technology innovations, such as Razer Optical Switches and Razer HyperSpeed Wireless, to give gamers a fast, feature-packed gaming keyboard experience.”

The new Deathstalker V2 series features a new slim design that includes a 5052 aluminum alloy top plate, laser-etched keycaps with what Razer calls an ultra-durable coating for better resistance to scratches and fading, as well as Razer’s Low-Profile Optical Switches in either its Linear and Clicky variants.

The Linear variant of Razer’s Low-Profile Optical Switch has an actuation point of 1.2mm with 2.8mm of total travel and an actuation force of 45 grams while the Clicky variant’s actuation and tactile point is at 1.5mm with a full travel of 2.8mm and an actuation force of 50 grams.

Leading the lineup of new keyboards is the Deathstalker V2 Pro and Deathstalker V2 Pro Tenkeyless. Both keyboards come equipped with Razer HyperSpeed Wireless technology that allows multi-device pairing so users only need one HyperSpeed Wireless dongle for all their compatible devices. The Deathstalker V2 Pro and Deathstalker V2 Pro Tenkeyless also come with Bluetooth 5.0 so users can connect to up to three devices at once.

The battery life of the Deathstalker V2 Pro and Deathstalker V2 Pro Tenkeyless are rated at 40 hours and 50 hours of continuous usage, respectively. Razer has included a detachable USB Type-C cable for both charging and using the keyboards while charging.

As for the standard Deathstalker V2, it comes with all the features of the Deathstalker V2 Pro minus the wireless connectivity.

The new Razer Deathstalker V2 series is now available through www.razer.com, Shopee, Lazada, or authorized sellers. The DeathStalker V2 is priced at PHP 9,799.00, DeathStalker V2 Pro Tenkeyless at PHP 12,200.00, and the DeathStalker V2 Pro is priced at PHP 14,590.00.
