OPPO showcased several of its latest innovations at MWC Barcelona 2022 earlier this month, which include its new flagship Find X5 series, new SuperVOOC charging technologies, and new 5G CPE wireless devices.

The new flagship Find X5 series features some of OPPO’s latest technologies, including the company’s new MariSilicon X imaging NPU (neural processing unit), a dual flagship Sony IMX766 camera system, Hasselblad Natural Colour Calibration, 5G connectivity, and SuperVOOC Flash Charging technology. The new Find X5 Pro is powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor that offers 30% higher GPU performance and 25% more power efficiency than its previous generation processor.
As for its new charging technologies, OPPO showcased both its 150W SuperVOOC and 240W SuperVOOC flash charging at MWC 2022. The new 150W SuperVOOC flash charge is capable of charging a 4,500 mAH battery to 50% in 5 minutes and 100% in just 15 minutes. The technology also helps maintain battery health by keeping the battery performing at 80% of its original capacity even after as many as 1,600 charge cycles, which is double the industry standard 800 cycles.
The more powerful 240W SuperVOOC flash charge is not only capable of charging a 4,500 mAh battery to 100% in just 9 minutes but it also comes with five safety protection measures and an intelligent control chip to manage voltage, current, and temperature. It also features a custom battery safety monitoring chip to observe damage to the battery as well as 13 temperature sensors to avoid overheating and any abnormalities.
Lastly, OPPO’s new 5G CPE technology is able to convert 5G signals into WiFi or LAN network connections, which lets multiple devices connect to a 5G service. The latest in the company’s 5G CPE product lineup is the OPPO 5G CPE T2, which features a Qualcomm Snapdragon X62 5G modem-RF system and OPPO’s updated O-Reserve 2.0 smart antenna technology. OPPO has already made agreements with operators across the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and Europe to implement the new technology in their respective territories in the second half of 2022.
OPPO plans to make its latest innovations commercially available to consumers and partners throughout 2022.
