NZXT has launched a new community contest to decide the new color schemes of the company’s Phantom 240 mid-tower case. Fans can visit the contest website to create their own Phantom 240 color scheme and enter the contest. The submitted designs will be voted on by the community and the designer of the winning color scheme will win a set of prizes worth around $450 including a laser-etched Phantom 240 with their winning design. The winning color scheme will also be made available for purchase after the contest. Entries can be submitted starting May 1st until June 1st so submit your designs now and start racking up the votes.
Below are the complete details of the contest and interested fans can enter the contest here.
“The Phantom 240 Design Competition (the “Contest”) is sponsored by NZXT Corporation, 13164 E. Temple Ave. City of Industry, CA 91746 (“NZXT”). The Contest is open to individuals aged 18 or older who are not otherwise prohibited by applicable law from entering. In order to participate, you must register on the Contest website using your Facebook account and complete your Contest design entry. NZXT may collect your name, date of birth, email, and country of residence directly from your Facebook account, and if some or all of the foregoing information cannot be collected from your Facebook account, NZXT will ask you to provide it. All information provided to NZXT directly or via Facebook must be true and accurate, and you hereby consent to NZXT’s collection and use of the foregoing information in connection with the Contest and NZXT’s business. No purchase is necessary in order to participate in the Contest.
Each individual may submit a maximum of three designs. You may vote for your design, but may only vote once per design in the Contest, including your own. Voting programs, bots, or other manipulation of the voting system is prohibited. NZXT reserves the right to disqualify any Contest entry if NZXT suspects for any reason that a violation of these rules has occurred.
Duplicate designs are permitted in the Phantom 240 Design Competition. In the event of one or more duplicate color combinations, only the design with the highest number of votes (likes) will be eligible to win. In the event that the 1st and 2nd place designs are duplicates, 2nd place will be awarded to the next highest voted unique design.
In the event that the 1st and 2nd place designs are created by the same person, only one prize bundle will be awarded. However, both Phantom 240 designs will be chosen and created by NZXT.
Contest will run from May 1st 2014 through June 1st 2014. There will be at least three winners of the Contest: the two Contest entries receiving the most votes from visitors to the Contest website will be declared winners, and NZXT will select a third winner in its sole discretion. NZXT reserves the right to select all final winners and also name additional winners and award additional prizes in its sole discretion.
Contest winners will receive an NZXT Super Bundle (including a laser-etched P240 sample of your Contest design entry, a Sentry 3 fan controller, a HALE82 v2 700W power supply, a Kraken CPU cooler, and an NZXT Shine 3 mechanical keyboard), the fair market value of which is approximately $450.00. If you have won a prize, NZXT will notify you after the close of the Contest, and you will be required to provide your address for shipping in order to receive the prize. NZXT will pay shipping and handling, but you will be required to pay any applicable customs fees or duties associated with shipping your prize to you. You will also be required to sign a release and to affirm your eligibility to receive the prize before your prize will be shipped.
NZXT reserves the right to discontinue the Contest at any time, as well as the right to change or substitute prizes with other items of substantially equivalent value in its sole discretion. You will be responsible for all taxes relating to your receipt of any prizes in the Contest.”
