Kingston has announced the addition of the new FURY Renegade SSD with heatsink to its lineup of PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 drives. The new variant of the FURY Renegade SSD introduces an aluminum heatsink that helps the drive maintain optimal temperatures, especially when used in PCs or consoles that don’t include a heatsink for its NVMe M.2 drive slot.
“The design of the Kingston FURY Renegade SSD pushes the limits of PCIe Gen4 technology to provide users with high-performance storage to complement the latest CPUs and GPUs with unbound storage,” said Kingston. “With the introduction of the optional heatsink model, users can meet the increasingly high standards of future gaming platforms with speed and thermal stability.”
Just like the standard variant, the FURY Renegade SSD with heatsink is capable of achieving speeds of up to 7,300/7,000MB/s read/write and up to 1,000,000 IOPS.
The new Kingston FURY Renegade SSD with heatsink is currently available in 500GB, 1TB, 2TB and 4TB capacities. The new drive is also backed by the company’s limited five-year warranty and free technical support.
