Season 3 of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone live and developer Treyarch has released the roadmap of content that players can expect to be released throughout the duration of the new update. The new season introduces a new battle pass, new multiplayer content, the next chapter of Zombies, a significant Warzone update, and more.
Firstly, Season 3 of Black Ops Cold War launches with the “Hunt for Adler” limited-time event, which will introduce in-game challenges in both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. Completing the Intel Challenges will reward players with weapon charms, calling cards, a new Operator Skin, and more.
The new season is also introducing three new operators, namely Wraith, Knight, and Antonov. Modern Warfare’s Captain Price has also joined the roster of Black Ops Cold War and Warzone as a new Operator. This new Black Ops Cold War Captain Price Operator is different from the one introduced in Modern Warfare and features a new outfit. While Knight and Antonov will be released later on in the season, both Wraith and Black Ops Cold War Captain Price are already available in both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone for those who already own Black Ops Cold War or to anyone who purchases the game at the start of Season 3.
Players will also be able to gain access to six new weapons throughout the season in both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, including the PPSh-41 SMG, the Swiss K31 sniper rifle, the Ballistic Knife, the CARV.2 tactical rifle, the AMP63, and the Baseball Bat.
Some of the other new content that’s been added in Black Ops Cold War multiplayer includes four new maps, two new multiplayer modes, and a new scorestreak. Zombies has also gotten a new Outbreak Region, a new Field Upgrade, new vehicles, new Outbreak Intel, and more. Season 3 will also add new Prestige Levels as well as Seasonal Challenges and Operator Missions for both Black Ops Cold War multiplayer and Zombies.
