ASUS has announced its new Dual GeForce RTX 4060 Ti SSD graphics card, which is equipped with an M.2 NVMe slot. According to the company, the M.2 NVMe slot on the graphics card offers better cooling than the one on a motherboard.
As for the graphics card itself, the Dual GeForce RTX 4060 Ti SSD is equipped with 8GB of VRAM and features third-generation RT Cores, fourth-generation Tensor Cores, support for DLSS 3.5, and more. It features a 2.5-slot design and only requires a single 8-pin PCIe power connector.
While the graphics card is PCIe 4.0-compliant, the M.2 NVMe slot is capable of the running at PCIe 5.0 speeds if the motherboard and the drive supports it. Installing an M.2 NVMe drive on the Dual GeForce RTX 4060 Ti SSD will have no performance hit on both the GPU and the SSD when the graphics card is installed on the primary PCIe slot of the motheboard.
The dual Axial-tech fans and the heatsink of the Dual GeForce RTX 4060 Ti SSD help keep the M.2 NVMe drive cool thanks to its pre-mounted thermal pad in the M.2 NVMe slot. According to ASUS, the M.2 NVMe drive installed on the graphics card can operate at up to 40% lower temperatures than those mounted on the motherboard.
The ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 4060 Ti SSD will be available in the Philippines sometime in March 2024 at an SRP of PHP 29,850.
