Electronic Arts has announced the PC system requirements for its upcoming Bioware-developed futuristic third-person shooter Anthem.
Looking at the announced system requirements, they’re pretty similar to those listed for the game’s Closed Alpha last month, with the only difference being the lowered graphics card requirement.
Minimum Requirements:
OS: 64-bit Windows 10
CPU: Intel Core i5 3570 or AMD FX-6350
RAM: 8 GB System Memory
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 760, AMD Radeon 7970 / R9280X
GPU RAM: 2 GB Video Memory
HARD DRIVE: At least 50 GB of free space
DIRECTX: DirectX 11
Recommended Requirements:
OS: 64-bit Windows 10
CPU: Intel Core i7-4790 3.6GHz or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X 3.5 GHz
RAM: 16 GB System Memory
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1060/ RTX 2060, AMD RX 480
GPU RAM: 4 GB Video Memory
HARD DRIVE: At least 50 GB of free space
DIRECTX: DirectX 11
While the listed minimum requirements don’t really specify nor guarantee the framerate the game will run at, it gives us a good idea of just how well the game could possibly scale down to allow more people to play it. The recommended requirements are also quite forgiving and lines up with many upper mid-range PC configurations.
Anthem is scheduled for release on February 22, 2019, for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. A new trailer was also released at CES 2019 today by NVIDIA to show off the company’s RTX technology. You can check out the trailer above.
