SteelSeries has announced that it’s special edition Dragon Arctis Nova 7 premium gaming headset will be available in the Philippines. Only 168 units of the headset will be available for pre-order in the country from Feb. 1 to 15, 2024.
SteelSeries assembled a team of its designers and product managers with Chinese and Taiwanese heritage to come up with the Dragon Arctis Nova 7. Celebrating the beginning of the 2024 Lunar New Year, the design of the new headset centers around the year’s zodiac animal, the dragon. This can be seen in the dragon icon on each of the headset’s cups as well as the dragon scale design of both the headband and earpads.
The headset also features the usual color palette of Lunar New Year celebrations. The deep red color of the headset symbolizes prosperity while the gold accents symbolize money and fortune.
As for the specifications and features of the Dragon Arctis Nova 7 itself, it is equipped with SteelSeries’ Nova Acoustic System, custom high-fidelity speaker drivers, 360-degree spatial audio, as well as 2.4GHz and Bluetooth connectivity. Thanks to its dual connectivity options, users will be able to listen to two audio streams at the same time, one on 2.4GHz via the USB-C dongle and another through Bluetooth.
The Dragon Arctis Nova 7 also features a 38-hour battery life and support for fast charging, four points of adjustability with its ComfortMax System, AirWeave Memory Foam cushions, AI-powered ClearCast Gen2 noise cancelation for its retractable bi-directional microphone, and compatibility with the company’s Sonar Audio Software Suite, allowing for professional grade parametric EQ.
It also comes with an extra set of red and gold speaker earcup plates with the SteelSeries logo.
The SteelSeries Dragon Arctis Nova 7 is available for pre-order from Feb. 1 to 15, 2024, through select retailers, with only 168 units available for pre-order.
