Deus Ex: The Fall has been announced by Square Enix, it is the next installment of the Deus Ex franchise and is the first installment in a series of mobile and tablet games.
Deus Ex: The Fall is set in 2027, the same time period as Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and continues the story of the Deus Ex novel, Deus Ex: The Icarus Effect putting players in control of augmented former British SAS Mercenary, Ben Saxon.
The Action-RPG shooter is being developed by Square Enix’s Mobile division in Europe in collaboratoin with Eidos-Montréal and N-Fusion who were the developers of Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
“We’re really excited to continue the Deus Ex series on mobile and start a new journey”, said Jean-François Dugas, Executive Game Director at Eidos-Montréal. “The team has done an incredible job creating a whole new story and controls for intuitive touch screen gameplay, whilst staying true to the Deus Ex universe. Players can expect exploration, action, hacking, stealth, social enhancers, player choice and consequence- the full Deus Ex experience.”

The first installment in the mobile game series will be priced at $6.99 and will be launched this summer.
