Philippine Gamedev Expo Announced for August 2023

The first Philippine Gamedev Expo (PGDX) has been announced and is set for August 18 to 20, 2023, at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City, Metro Manila. The event is organized by Full Stack Solutions CBZN Perspective in cooperation with the Game Developers Association of the Philippines (GDAP).

The PGDX aims to showcase the work and talent of both local and global game developers. The event will feature guest speakers, game demos, hardware showcases, a cosplay competition, community gatherings, and more. B2B activities, such as workshops, panel discussions and masterclasses, will also be held at PGDX.

So far, three guest speakers have been announced for PGDX, including:

  • Michael Albert “Mooch” Mucci, Razer Gold’s Associate Director and Head of Account Management, who is a change leader who enjoys supporting large global consumer tech businesses in scaling their operations across multiple functions as they grow.
  • Chris Murphy, the Chief Evangelist of Unreal Engine, embodies his enormous passion and dedication to game development and design.
  • Christopher Natsuume, the creative director & co-founder of Boomzap Entertainment. He is one of the top independent game developers in Southeast Asia who released over 50 award-winning games on different platforms and distribution channels.

More speakers will be announced in the coming weeks and more information on the publishers, brands, and games that will be present at PGDX.
