Garena has opened registrations for the open beta for the Southeast Asia release of Undawn, the upcoming open-world survival shooter from Tencent Games and Lightspeed & Quantum, which is scheduled to release sometime in 2023. Apart from being able to join the open beta once it launches, those who register may also be chosen to join the game’s closed beta, which is set to occur sometime in April.
First unveilead in 2021, Undawn is set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by zombies. It features both Player vs Player (PvP) and Player vs Environment (PvE) gamepplay as well as AAA graphics built on Unreal Engine 4. It was also announced in 2021 that Garena would publish Undawn in Southeast Asia.
Players in Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand can now register for the open beta through its official website (https://ud.garena.com). The Undawn open beta is scheduled to begin sometime in the summer of 2023 and will be available on both Android and iOS.
