ASUS ROG has launched its new Azoth Extreme customizable 75% mechanical gaming keyboard in the Philippines. The new premium keyboard features a metal chassis and frame, carbon fiber plate, adjustable gasket mounting, a full-color OLED touchscreen, and more.
The chassis of the Azoth Extreme is made from an aluminum alloy that’s coupled with a metal frame. It comes with a carbon fiber positioning plate that ASUS says offers both metal-like rigidity and shock-absorbing elasticity to minimize vibrations while typing. The inside of the keyboard also features two layers of PORON dampening foam and a silicone pad to further minimize vibrations , switch ping, and other noise.
The Azoth Extreme features an innovative gasket-mount design that lets users adjust the typing feel of the keyboard just by flipping a switch at the bottom of the keyboard. The Hard typing mode offers firmer keystrokes and faster rebound while Soft mode offers more cushion and bounce for more comfort and less fatigue.
The 1.47-inch full-color OLED touchscreen can be found on the upper right of the Azoth Extreme. It can display a range of information such as keyboard connection status, Caps Lock, PC/Mac mode indicators, hardware info, and more. Beside the OLED touchscreen is a three-way control knob and side button.
The Azoth Extreme features tri-mode connectivity, including Bluetooth, low-latency ROG SpeedNova 2.4GHz RF wireless, or standard wired USB. It can achieve a 8000Hz polling rate when used with the ROG Polling Rate Booster, while also offering up to 1600 hours of battery life when using in either wireless mode.
ASUS has included pre-lubed ROG NX mechanical switches, a pre-lubed stabilizers, ROG PBT Doubleshot or UV-Coated ABS keycaps, two pairs of detachable magnetic feet, and an extended silicone wrist rest.
The ASUS ROG Azoth Extreme customizable 75% mechanical gaming keyboard will be available in the Philippines starting September 2024 at an SRP of PHP 28,880.
