ASUS has officially launched, at a recent press event, the Transformer Book T300 Chi into the Philippine market. The T300 Chi is the more powerful, current, and all-aluminum refresh of the original T300.
Sporting a sleek and seamless all-aluminum unibody along with a 12.5-inch screen and the most current Intel Core M processor, the T300 Chi is one of the thinnest hybrids in the world measuring only 1.64cm and weighs only 1.43 kilograms.
The T300 Chi’s screen, measuring 12.5-inches, features a high-definition display resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. It features an IPS panel coupled with the company’s TruVivid technology as well as an sRGB color gamut giving it 20% wider gamut than standard displays.
The tablet portion of the T300 Chi connects to its keyboard dock via an innovative and uniquely-designed magnetic hinge system which uses neodymium magnets. It makes docking and removing the tablet from the keyboard dock both secure and easy. As for operating the keyboard, it pairs with the tablet via Bluetooth.
On the inside, the T300 Chi features an Intel Core M processor, 4GB of LPDDR3 1600MHz SDRAM which can be upgraded up to 8GB, a 128GB solid-state drive, and two batteries – a 32Whrs battery in the tablet and an additional 2WHrs in the dock.
The T300 Chi also comes in two processor variants – one with an Intel Core M 5Y10 and another with a more powerful 5Y71 processor. Both are now available at all authorized ASUS re-sellers nationwide for an SRP of Php39,995 and Php46,995 for the 5Y10 and the 5Y71 version, respectively.
