Lastly, Transcend’s new duo of USB Type-C memory card readers allow regular consumers and professionals to easily transfer files from their memory cards. The RDC8 is a 3-slot card reader that supports SD, microSD, and CF cards and features a USB 3.1 Gen 1 interface while the RDC2 smart reader is an OTG (On-The-Go) card reader meant for use with smartphones and tablets. The RDC2 supports both SD and microSD cards and is also equipped with a standard USB Type-A port that allows users to connect other devices such as USB flash drives, keyboards, and mice.
