ASUS ROG (Republic of Gamers) has officially announced that their recently unveiled giant 65-inch 4K gaming monitor, or the BFGD (Big Format Gaming Display) as they call it, is now available in the Philippines. The ROG Swift PG65UQ packs a 65-inch 4K (3840 x 2160) HDR panel, an overclockable refresh rate of 144Hz, a DCI-P3 95% professional color gamut, and both DisplayHDR 1000 and Ultra HD Premium certification.
“The ASUS ROG Swift PG65UQ BFGD with NVIDIA G-SYNC is a great option for PC gaming on a big screen,” said Matt Wuebbling, head of GeForce Marketing at NVIDIA. “Gamers will appreciate the impressive video quality, brightness and high resolution that BFGD provides.”
The gigantic monitor utilizes full array local dimming (FALD) to dynamically control LED backlighting across 384 zones that are capable of reaching a peak brightness of 1000 nits in each zone, which gave the Swift PG65UQ its DisplayHDR 1000 and Ultra HD Premium certifications.
It also supports NVIDIA G-SYNC Ultimate technology to help the monitor’s overclockable 144Hz refresh rate stay smooth while the variable refresh rate (VRR) support makes it seamlessly compatible with consoles such as the Xbox One.
The Swift PG65UQ is also equipped with 15W speakers coupled with ASUS SonicMaster technology and comes with a remote control for convenient and full control of the on-screen display.
The ASUS ROG Swift PG65UQ Big Format Gaming Display (BFGD) is now available in the Philippines at an SRP of PHP 265,480.
