Cougar has been releasing products left and right this year and the QBX, an ultra-compact mini-ITX case designed for gamers, is just one of the latest products they’ve unveiled in the past few months.
The QBX is impressively small basing on the data Cougar has released. It measures a measly 7.01 x 10.24 x 14.49 inches (178 x 260 x 368 mm) but can still fit a relatively large number of components including a mini-ITX motherboard, a PS2 ATX PSU (up to 140mm in depth), up to four hard drives, and video cards up to 350mm (13.7-inch) in length like the GTX980 from NVIDIA or the R9 290X from AMD/ATI.
This ultra-compact case also supports up to 7 fans as well as up to 240mm long water cooling systems giving it one of the best cooling systems in its size range. The PSU slot even has its own dedicated airflow system so that the hot air coming from it doesn’t affect the other components in the QBX. Additionally, the QBX comes with two USB 3.0 ports, HD audio ports, two fan filters, and a cable management system via cable feedthrough on the motherboard tray.
The QBX will be available sometime in April of this year. Cougar has not mentioned how much the QBX will cost when it comes out. We’ve posted more photos and the full specifications of the QBX below for your reference.
