Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream developer and publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that its latest game based on the popular anime, manga, and light novel franchise will be released sometime in 2024. The large-scale multiplayer action adventure game will be available on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.
Bandai Namco Entertainment also announced that a closed beta test will be conducted from March 11 to 17, 2024, with registrations open until March 4, 2024. For players in Southeast Asia, the closed beta test will be available on the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam. Players can register for the closed beta test here.
Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream features a new setting that combines the different worlds and timelines of the series into one. It features a brand-new story and many of the characters from across the franchise. It will feature cross-play and will have a focus on co-op gameplay.
Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream is scheduled for release in 2024 for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, and Steam.
