Starfield Releases Live Action Trailer Ahead of Launch

We are less than two weeks away from the launch of Starfield, one of the most anticipated games of the year, and developer Bethesda Game Studios has released a live action trailer to further drum up the excitement for the new game’s release.

The trailer, which features an orchestral rendition of Elton John’s “Rocket Man,” gives players a sense of what the experience of playing Starfield will feel like as they set off on their own adventure.

Starfield is Bethesda Game Studios’ first new IP in over 25 years and this time the studio is taking players to outer space, way beyond the Solar System into what is known as the Settled Systems. Set 20 years after the end of a war between the United Colonies and Freestar Collective, Starfield puts players into the shoes of a member of the Constellation, an organization of space explorers.

Starfield is scheduled for release on September 6, 2023, for the Xbox Series X/S and PC. Those who preorder the game’s Premium or Constellation Edition will get up to five days early access while Game Pass subscribers will get access on day one.
