Samsung has announced its new lineup of foldable smartphones, including the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6. The new generation of foldable devices highlights the latest Galaxy AI technology and how it enhances the experience of using a foldable smartphone.

Some of the new features of the latest Galazy Z series include slimmer and lighter designs, a stronger folding edge, and enhanced layers on the main increase to improve both the crease and durability. The new Galaxy Z series is also equipped with enhanced Armor Aluminum and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Both devices are now powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor that’s supported by an upgrade cooling system.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6
The new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 comes with an array of AI-powered features and tools that help with productivity (such as Note Assist, PDF Overlay Translation, Samsung Keyboard Composer, and Sketch to Image), communication (Interpreter, Live Translate), and photography (ProVisual Engine, Photo Assist, Portrait Studio, Instant Slow-mo). The Z Fold6 is also compatible with Google Gemini, giving you access to your own AI-powered assistant.
Samsung has equipped the Z Fold6 with a larger vapor chamber, 1.6 times larger, for improved cooling as well as support for ray tracing for better visuals while gaming on its 7.6-inch main display that has a peak brightness of 2,600 nits.
The Galaxy Z Fold6 is available in Silver Shadow, Pink, and Navy. Also available in Crafted Black and White when you order via Samsung.com.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6
The new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 now features 3.4-inch Super AMOLED FlexWindow display that offers exclusive AI-powered features such as Suggested Replies, Photo Ambient wallpapers, FlexCam, AutoZoom, and more. Samsung has also introduced a wider variety of FlexWindow widgets for users to take advantage. The Z Flip6 also comes with more powerful 50-megapixel Wide and 12-megapixel Ultra-wide cameras.
Galaxy Z Flip6 is also available in Silver Shadow, Yellow, Blue and Mint. Also available in Crafted Black, White, and Peach when you order via Samsung.com.
Both the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 come with the company’s Samsung Knox multi-layer security and are built using sustainable materials such as recycled gold, copper, cobalt, and rare earth elements. Samsung also promises seven years of OS and security updates for both devices.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6 are now available for pre-order and will be available in stores starting July 31, 2024. Here are the SRPs of each storage variant:
