PayMaya is giving its users free COVID-19 plus Personal Accident insurance coverage in partnership with Pioneer Insurance. From May 5 to June 30, 2021, upgraded PayMaya users that spend at least PHP 500 in single or accumulated transactions through PayMaya’s in-app shop, Pay Bills feature, pay via PayMaya QR or using their PayMaya mobile number, will get the free insurance coverage worth PHP 150,000 for 1 month.

Users who qualify for the promotion will receive a text notification to claim their free insurance voucher which they can claim in the PayMaya app. After claiming the voucher, Pioneer Insurance will provide them with a link to their insurance policy via SMS. PayMaya users aged 18 to 60 years old can avail of the free insurance and redeem the voucher.
