OPPO has officially launched its new Reno and Reno 10x Zoom flagship smartphones in the Philippines. The two new devices features the latest in camera technology from the company.
The Reno 10x Zoom is the first smartphone from the company to feature a 10x hybrid zoom lens. The triple rear camera system of the Reno 10x Zoom is also capable of 60x digital zoom and consists of a 48-megapixel IMX586 main camera, an 8-megapixel wide angle lens, and a 13-megapixel telephoto lens.
On the inside, the Reno 10x Zoom also features a 6.6-inch full panoramic display and is powered by a Snapdragon 855 chipset along with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and compatibility with the company’s VOOC 3.0 fast charging.
On the other hand, the OPPO Reno comes with a dual rear camera system consisting of a 48-megapixel main sensor and a 5-megapixel PDAF secondary sensor. It features a smaller 6.4-inch display and is powered by a Snapdragon 710 processor, 6GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage.
OPPO didn’t stop with their rear camera system though, as the Reno and Reno 10x Zoom also feature the company’s innovative 16-megapixel Sharksfin front-facing camera, a new way to implement the motorized front-facing camera.
Some of the other features of the Reno and Reno 10x Zoom Ultra Night Mode 2.0, Color Mapping, 4K Video, and Dolby Atmos Speakers. The Reno 10x Zoom is also capable of Audio 3D and Audio Zoom.
Pre-orders for the Reno run from June 15 to 20, 2019, and will be available starting June 21 for an SRP of PHP 26,990 while the Reno 10x Zoom begin right after on June 21 and will run until June 30 before the smartphone launches on July 1, 2019 for an SRP of PHP 45,990. Both devices will be available through Globe and Smart sometime in July 2019.
