OPPO has announced its latest entry-level smartphone , the A16K, which will be available in the Philippines starting November 3, 2021, and is priced at PHP 6,999. The new OPPO A16K is a more affordable variants of the OPPO A16 that the company launched a few months ago.
The OPPO A16K features a similar sleek and light design, measuring only 7.85mm thin and weighing only 175 grams, with its 3D back cover and two color options – Black and Blue. It also features a 6.52-inch HD+ (720 x 1600px) display that’s supported by the company’s All-Day Eye Care feature set that includes Sunlight Display, Moonlight Display and AI Smart Backlight for a more comfortable user experience.
The new smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G35 SoC (system-on-a-chip) and a 4230mAh battery. The A16K’s battery is also supported by several charging features including Super Nighttime Standby, Optimized Night Charging, and Super Power Saving Mode.
Some of the features of the new budget device include a 13-megapixel rear main camera that comes with several features such as the AI Palette image editor and the SoLoop smart video editor.
The OPPO A16K is priced at PHP 6,999 and will be available on November 3, 2021, through OPPO Brand Stores, partner retailers, and the official OPPO Shopee and Lazada stores.
