UPDATE (March 8, 2024): The Paravox open beta, which was initially scheduled to begin today, March 8, 2024, has been postponed for a later date. Developer 81Ravens has yet to announce the new date for the open beta.
Paravox, a new 3v3 competitive shooter from Japanese developer 81Ravens, will be entering open beta on March 8, 2024, on the Epic Games Store.
The third-person action shooter will feature high-speed character control and traversal as well as six weapon brands that will represent different weapon types, such as katanas, shotguns, sniper rifles, and more.
Paravox also features both unranked and ranked matches, the latter of which will reward players with tokens they can use to purchase cosmetics, in-game items, and more, with higher ranked players gaining access to more rewards.
To supplement the release of Paravox, 81Ravens plans to launch Paravox Labs, an iCafe partneship program that will bring activities such as free-play sessions and mini tournaments to partnered iCafes. The company is also planning to hold an esports league with a prize pool of JPY (Japanese Yen) 100 million.
Paravox launches in open beta on PC via the Epic Games Store on March 8, 2024.
