Monster Hunter Wilds just ended its last open beta before its launch next week on February 28, 2025, and developer and publisher Capcom has detailed some of the updates that are coming to the game for its release. In its pre-launch community update, Capcom listed its performance targets for the game on console, the updated system requirements for PC, as well as updates to gameplay and weapons.
Those playing Monster Hunter Wilds on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X in 4K can expect 30fps or 60fps on the Prioritize Graphics and Prioritize Framerate modes, respectively, while Xbox Series S owners can expect 30 fps at 1080p. Capcom also lowered the system requirements for PC. It was previously announced that running the game 60 fps (with Frame Generation Enabled) at 1080p would require an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060, or AMD Radeon RX 6700XT graphics card as well as an Intel Core i5-11600K, Intel Core i5-12400, AMD Ryzen 5 3600X, or AMD Ryzen 5 5500 CPU. The company has now lowered that to a GeForce RTX 2060 Super or Radeon RX 6600 (8 GB VRAM) as well as a Intel Core i5-10400, Intel Core i3-12100, or AMD Ryzen 5 3600.
