Kingston has officially launched its new NV1 NVMe PCIe SSD, a new single-sided M.2 drive that’s designed for entry-level users. The NV1 is available in capacities up to 2TB while maintaining a relatively affordable price tag.
The NV1 NVMe PCIe SSD comes in an M.2 2280 form factor and an NVMe PCIe Gen 3.0 x 4 interface that is rated for read/write speeds of up to 2,100/1,700 MB/s. The new drive is available in 500GB, 1TB, and 2TB capacities, with endurance ratings of 120TBW, 240TBW, and 480TBW, respectively. The new drives are also backed by Kingston’s limited three-year warranty.
