Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.4 will be launching on July 31 and will see the Astral Express make a return to the Xianzhou Luofu. The Version 2.4 update, called “Finest Duel Under the Pristine Blue,” will feature the Wardance ceremony, introduce two new five-star characters, a new region to explore, and more.
After their time at Penacony, players will now make their way back to the Xianzhou Luofu to participate in the Wardance ceremony, which commemorates the Reighbow Arbiter and the Cloud Knight’s victory against the Abominations of Abundance. After the Ambrosial Arbor crisis, this year’s ceremony also acts as a way to uplift the spirits of Luofu residents as well as an invitation to allies and friends in a gesture of peace and hospitality. Trailblazers will not only reunite with familiar faces such as Yanqing but also meet significant figures such as the “Merlin’s Claw” General Feixiao of Xianzhou Yaoqing and the “Flaming Heart “General Huaiyan of Xianzhou Zhuming.
In the new update, players will also explore the new region, The Shackling Prison, where the realm’s most notorious criminals are detained. The entrance of The Shackling Prison is found under the Scalegorge Waterscape where players will arrive at a dipatch hub before descending the depths of the prison, where wolflike monsters called Borisin reside.
The two new five-star characters that will be introduced in Version 2.4 are Yunli and Jiaoqiu. Yunli is the granddaughter of “Flaming Heart “General Huaiyan and is a Physical-type character under the Path of Destruction. On the other hand, Jiaoqiu is a delegate from the Xianzhou Yaoqing and is a Fire-Type character following the Path of Nihility. Players will also receive the new Swordmaster March 7th four-star character during the update. March’s new form is an Imaginary-type character under the Path of the Hunt.
Huohuo and Sparkle will also be getting rerun banners during the first and second halves of Version 2.4, respectively.
Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.4 will be released on July 31, 2024. The game is available on PC, iOS, Android, and PlayStation 5.
