Honkai Star Rail Version 1.3 Launches Today, Imbibitor Lunae Banner Now Available

Honkai Star Rail has rolled out Version 1.3 today and the new update, titled “Celestial Eyes Above Mortal Ruins,” has introduced a whole lot of new content to the game. These include a brand new area called the Aurum Alley, an update to the Simulated Universe, the release of three new playable characters, and more.

First off, the Aurum Valley is a new area found in the Exalting Sanctum. The dilapidated area is now being restored and players will have the opportunity to influence how that will occur. Apart from the Aurum Alley revival project, the new area will also introduce a new limited time event that players can participate in.

Herta’s Simulated Universe is also getting an update in Version 1.3, introducing the new “Swarm Disaster” worlds as well as the new “Path of Propagation” that players can choose for the Simulated Universe.

Most importantly, Honkai Star Rail Version 1.3 is finally introducing Imbibitor Lunae as a playable character. The five-star Imaginary-type Path of Destruction character will be available through his limited-time banner for the next three weeks. After Imibibitor Lunae’s banner ends, players will then be able to pull for Fu Xuan, the other five-star character being added in Version 1.3. Fu Xuan is a Quantum-type Path of Preservation character. Lastly, players will be able to recruit the new four-star character Lynx, who is a Quantum-type Path of Abundance character.

Alongside the release of Imbibitor Lunae and Fu Xuan, new five-star Light Cones will also be available for players to pull in their respective banners.

Version 1.3 is also introducing the highly requested adjustment to the Trailblaze Power, which will not only increase the maximum players can store but also introduce the surplus power system, allowing players to store even more Trailblaze Power and participate in more in-game activities.

Honkai Star Rail is currently available on PC, iOS, and Android. A PlayStation 5 version is scheduled for release sometime in Q4 of 2023.
