Globe Partners With Astro to Bring the eGG eSports Network to the Country

Globe has officially announced, at the launch of their new Iconic Store, a slew of new partnerships with some heavy-hitting brands to bring more content to the Philippine market. One of those partners is Malaysian media company Astro who will bring their eGG Network, Southeast Asia’s first dedicated 24/7 eSports network, to the country.

Through the eGG Network, eSports fans will be able to watch the biggest eSports events and tournaments as well as the largest eSports leagues in the world. From League of Legends and Dota 2 to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and more,  the eGG Network and Globe are planning to bring the best eSports viewing experience to fans and consumers nationwide.

The other new partners Globe announced include Netflix, Disney Mobile, Cartoon Network, Sports Illustrated, and Smule.

Globe also announced their foray into event production with the launch of Globe Live. With Globe Live, the company plans to utilize their wide experience and capabilities to produce world-class events from concerts, theatrical shows, conventions, and more. Globe Live may soon let us see and experience world-class gaming conventions in the country.
