Genshin Impact publisher and developer HoYoverse has announced that its Version 4.5 update will launch on March 13, 2024. The new update will introduce the latest major seasonal event “Alchemical Ascension,” the new 5-star Chiori, a new “Chronicled Wish,” new optimizations, and more.
In the “Alchemical Ascension” event, players will head over to Mondstadt and assist Lisa in managing a new alchemical potion shop. Players will be responsible with cultivating ingredients, creating potions, selling them to customers, and expanding the business further. The rewards that players can obtain during the event include the event-exclusive 4-star polearm “Dialogues of the Desert Sages.” Other activities that players can participate in include “Feline Fortress Furrdyssey” and “Rolling Crossfire.”
As previously mentioned, Version 4.5 will introduce Chiori as the game’s latest playable 5-star character. She is a Geo sword wielder that is capable of summoner her automaton doll and design assistant, “Tamato,” to deal damage. She can also summon a second automaton doll if a Geo Construct is nearby. Along with release of Chiori, her Story Quest will also become available for players to experience.
Chiori’s banner will be available during the first half of the update alongside Arataki Itto while Neuvillette and Kaedehara Kazuha will be available in the second half. Version 4.5 is also introducing a brand-new “Chronicled Wish,” which will feature Albedo, Eula, Mona, Klee, Diluc, and Jean, as well as more than 10 5-star weapons.
Version 4.5 is also adding the new “Training Guide” feature that will provide players with useful tips and suggestions for things such as how to ascend currently equipped weapons, where to obtain materials, and more. The Talent interface will also now display upgrade materials to make it easier for players to know what they need to obtain.
