Fallout 76 is getting its own battle royale mode called Nuclear Winter. It will be a 52-player PVP mode and will feature many of the elements (albeit adjusted) from the game’s Adventure Mode and Survival Mode including Perks, C.A.M.P.s, Power Armor, wasteland creatures, nukes, and more.
The new battle royale mode will feature new and unique Perks that are exclusive to the mode and won’t carry over to Adventure mode but both the experience and Caps you earn from Nuclear Winter will transfer over. Elements like weapons, armor, Chems, S.P.E.C.A.L., and more have also been adjusted to suit the game mode.
Bethesda has yet to announce a release date for Nuclear Winter but from June 10 through June 17, all of Fallout 76 is free to play across all platforms and will include a pre-beta sneak peek of the new mode.
