Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero Marks Return of Budokai Tenkaichi Series

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero (stylized as Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero) has been officially announced by Bandai Namco Entertainment, and the new title is the first new entry in the classic Budokai Tenkaichi series in over 15 years. It is being developed by Spike Chunsoft, which previously worked on Jump Force and One Piece: Burning Blood, among many other titles.

While not much information has been announced for Sparking Zero, Bandai Namco has released the trailer for the upcoming game as well as a teaser for the game’s roster. While the list is pretty long, it simply consists of the different forms of Goku and Vegeta, who star in the game’s trailer. It’s likely that the game will include many more characters but fans will have to wait for more announcements.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero will be released on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam, although no release date has been announced yet.
