Dragon Ball Fusions Releasing Worldwide for 3DS in December

Bandai Namco has officially announced that Nintendo 3DS action role-playing game Dragon Ball Fusions, which released in Japan earlier this year, will be launching worldwide on December 13, 2016.

Dragon Ball Fusions features a chibi art style as well as strategy, RPG, and real-time action elements for its combat system. The game also features characters from across the entire Dragon Ball series including both heroes of villains. In Dragon Ball Fusions, players will be able to create their own avatar and explore an unknown Dragon World (where the different timelines and dimensions of the Dragon Ball world are fused together).

The player is accompanied by Pinich, a new character in the franchise, and the duo will be able to meet and recruit characters from the franchise and eventually fuse with them to create more powerful characters. Because of the fusion system, the game can potentially feature hundreds of different playable characters.

Developed by Ganbarion, previously known for developing games based on the One Piece anime and manga series, Dragon Ball Fusions will be available in the US on December 13, 2016, and Europe sometime in February 2017. It’s safe to assume that we’ll be getting the game around the same time as the US release.
