Diablo 4 Announced at BlizzCon 2019, Cinematic and Gameplay Trailer Released

Diablo 4 has been officially announced during the BlizzCon 2019 opening ceremony via both a cinematic and gameplay trailer.

As previously leaked, Lilith, the Daughter of Hatred and the Mother of Sanctuary, will play an important role in the game and will most likely be the game’s main antagonist.

Diablo 4 will return to the original game’s darker and more terror-filled aesthetic and style and the first three classes announced for the game are the Barbarian, Sorceress, and Druid.

Here’s a description of the fourth major entry in the long-running series from its cinematic trailer:

“Diablo IV takes place many years after the events of Diablo III, after millions have been slaughtered by the actions of the High Heavens and Burning Hells alike. In the vacuum of power, a legendary name resurfaces.”

There’s no release date yet for Diablo 4 but it will come to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. You can watch the cinematic trailer above and the gameplay trailer below:
