Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Release Date Set for April 24

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 distributor Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia, developer Sandfall Interactive, and publisher Kepler Interactive, have announced that the upcoming turn-based RPG will be released on April 24, 2025, on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam.

During the recenty Xbox Developer Direct presentation, Sandfall Interactive revealed new details on Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, including some background on the game’s development, some of the game’s characters, and several new gameplay features. The studio shared details on the game’s story, art direction inspired by Belle Epoque France, and turn-based combat.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Release Date

The two characters that were introduced during the presentation include Monoco and Esquie. Monoco is a playable character that is capable of transforming himself into enemies and using their abilities against them while Esquie is an NPC that will help players unlock overworld abilities to explore the map further.

Also revealed during the presentation, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will feature an overworld with optional battles and side quests, the ability to set up camp, listen to the in-game record player, and interact with their party members. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is scheduled for release on April 24, 2025, on the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The game is already available for pre-order now.
