Bleach Rebirth of Souls has released a new trailer showcasing the upcoming fighting game’s features and gameplay. The trailer goes over the game’s battle system, including its basic and advanced actions, as well as its game modes.
In Bleach Rebirth of Souls, players will need to master the three basic actions of attacking, guarding, and guard breaking, as well as making the most of range/distance, speed, and attacks based on the character they’re using. Some of the basic attacks that players will be able to execute include quick attack combo, flash attack combo, reverse, chain reverse, burst reverse, soul reverse, follow-up hoho, counter, and more. As for advanced moves, characters have unique signature and spiritual pressure moves.
Battles in Bleach Rebirth of Souls can last quite a bit as players will not only need to deplete their opponent’s Reishi or health but they will also have to deplete their Konpaku or lives. The game provides several ways for players to take off several Konpaku at a time using either their character’s Kikon Move or Kikon Channel. Players can also have an option to turn the tide of battle using Awakening, which activates when their Fighting Spirit gaugee is full. Awakening boosts a character’s stats and unlocks new moves, including the aforementioned Kikon Channel.
As for Bleach Rebirth of Souls’ array of game modes, there is the Secret Story Mode, Battle Mode, and Mission Mode. Here are descriptions for each of the game modes:
Secret Story Mode
The Secret Story mode delves into the main narrative from each character perspective offering a unique and deeper look through their eyes. Side episodes will also describe the daily life in between battles. Players will be able to experience the journey of Ichigo Kurosaki from the Substitute Soul Reaper arc, to the conclusion of the Arrancar Arc.
Battle Mode
In Battle Mode, players can test their skills against their friends offline and worldwide players online in intense action battles.
Mission Mode
In Mission Mode, players test their skills in predefined missions with objectives and goals to achieve.
Bleach Rebirth of Souls is scheduled for release on March 21, 2025, for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and on PC via Steam. Check out the new trailer below:
