ASUS has officially released two of its latest high-end enthusiast motherboards for AMD’s new X399 platform, which accompanied the launch of its Ryzen Threadripper processors. The new X399 motherboards include features such as one-touch intelligent overclocking, refined cooling control, advanced connectivity, and improved RGB lighting.
The new boards include features such as 5-Way Optimization; provisions for additional LED lighting such as multiple LED headers for the X399 Prime and addressable headers for the ROG Zenith Extreme; dedicated headers for pumps and all-in-one coolers; headers for monitoring coolant flow, temperatures, and custom monoblocks for the ROG Zenith Extreme; and FanXpert technology.
The new ASUS X399 motherboards also play host to a slew of connectivity options such as USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports in both Type-A and Type-C variants and Gigabit Networking. More specifically, the ROG Zenith Extreme features a 10Gbps Ethernet card as well as an 802.11ad Wi-Fi module.
Lastly, the ROG Zenith Extreme features an ESS Sabre 9018Q2C DAC.
Both the ROG Zenith Extreme and Prime X399-A will be available at leading retailers sometime this month with pre-orders already open at select retailers. The ROG Zenith Extreme is priced with an SRP of Php31,520.00 while the Prime X399-A has an SRP of Php19,660.
