ASUS is showing off its latest lineup of gaming monitors that range from 24-inch to 27-inch models that feature high refresh rates, low response times, and IPS panels. The combination of having high refresh rates and IPS panels make the monitors suitable for both gamers and professionals. The four featured gaming monitors, the ASUS VP249QGR, ASUS VG278QR, ASUS TUF Gaming VG279QM, and ASUS TUF Gaming VG27AQ, are all now available in the market.
ASUS VP249QR
The ASUS VP249QGR is currently one of the company’s most popular monitors due to its Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 1ms MPRT response time, IPS panel, and affordable price of PHP 10,820. The VP249QGR is also compatible with AMD’s FreeSync adaptive sync technology and is equipped with two HDMI, D-Sub, and DisplayPort inputs to suit different kinds of setups.
ASUS VG278QR
For those who want a larger, faster monitor, ASUS also has the VG278QR which features a 27-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) panel. The VG278QR is the only monitor on the list that isn’t equipped with an IPS panel but makes up for it with its faster 165Hz refresh rate and up to 0.5ms GTG response time. The VG279QM also features a 27-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS panel with a response time of 1ms and a 99% sRGB color gamut. Other features of the monitor include DisplayHDR 400 certification, compatibility with NVIDIA G-Sync, as well as ASUS exclusive technologies such as ELMB (Extreme Low Motion Blur) Sync. The TUF Gaming VG279QM is priced at PHP 25,410.
TUF Gaming VG27AQ
Lastly, the TUF Gaming VG27AQ is the best monitor on the list with its 27-inch WQHD (2560 x 1440) resolution IPS display panel. The VG27AQ features a refresh rate of 165Hz, a response time of 1ms MPRT, and a 99% sRGB color gamut. It is also compatible with ELMB Sync, NVIDIA G-Sync, and HDR10 high dynamic range technology. The TUF Gaming VG27AQ is equipped with two HDMI(v2.0) ports and a single DisplayPort 1.2 connector. It is priced at PHP 29,180.
