ASUS has launched its new ROG Strix SCAR 17 SE and Flow X16 gaming laptops in the Philippines, the release of the two products closes out the company’s gaming laptop lineup for 2022.
ROG Strix SCAR 17 Special Edition
The new ROG Strix SCAR 17 Special Edition is the company’s most powerful gaming laptop so far this year, with an Intel Core i9-12950HX 65W laptop CPU coupled with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti that has a max TGP of 175W with Dynamic Boost and a MUX switch. To keep the temps of the ROG Strix SCAR 17 SE manageable, it’s equipped with the company’s ROG Intelligent Cooling system paried with Thermal Grizzly’s Conductonaut Extreme liquid metal thermal compound.
The ROG Strix SCAR 17 SE is also equipped with a 17-inch WQHD display that features Dolby Vision, Adaptive Sync, and a 240Hz refreh rate. It also comes with Dolby Atmos speakers and 2TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage.

As for the ROG Flow X16, it features an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and 1TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. It’s also equipped with a 16-inch QHD 165Hz Mini LED HDR display that has a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and up to 1100 nits of brightness.
