ASUS, at one of the company’s recent Gamer’s Gatherings, has officially launched its latest Pro Gamer series of mid-range motherboards into the Philippine market. The new motherboards include the H97-Pro Gamer and B85-Pro Gamer for Intel users and the A88X-Gamer for AMD users.
Both the H97-Pro Gamer and B85-Pro Gamer motherboards feature the company’s slew of special features including SupremeFX 8-channel HD audio with Sonic Radar I/II, Intel Gigabit Ethernet with ASUS GameFirst II, and ASUS AI Suite 3, while the A88X-Gamer features ASUS Gamer Guardian components for better protection for your motherboard and the hardware attached to it.
Aside from the special features, the H97- Pro Gamer is equipped with an LGA1150 Socket for Intel’s 4th or 5th generation processors, Intel’s H97 Express chipset, four DIMM slots for up to a maximum of 32GB of 1600MHz DDR3 RAM, one PCI Express 3.0/2.0 x16 slot, one PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot (x4 mode maximum), two PCI Express 2.0 x1 slots, three PCI slots, One SATA Express connector, one M.2 socket 3, and four SATA 6Gbit/s connectors.
The B85-Pro Gamer is equipped with the same LGA1150 Socket as the H97-Pro Gamer, Intel’s B85 chipset, four DIMM slots for up to a maximum of 32GB of 1600MHz DDR3 RAM, one PCI Express 3.0/2.0 x16 slot, one PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot (x4 mode max), two PCI Express 2.0 x1 slots, three PCI slots, four SATA 6GBit/s connectors, and two SATA 3Gbit/s connectors.
Lastly, the A88X-Gamer features an AMD Socket FM2+ that supports up to a four-core AMD A-series or Athlon series processor, AMD’s A88X FCH chipset, four DIMM slots that supports up to a maximum of 64GB of 2400MHz DDR3 RAM, one PCI Express 3.0/2.0 x16 slot, one PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot (x4 mode max), two PCI Express 2.0 x1 slot, three PCI slots, eight SATA 6Gbit/s connectors, and an Intel Gigabit Ethernet port.
The H97-Pro Gamer and the B85-Pro Gamer are now available for an SRP of Php6,890 and Php4,950, respectively, while the A88X-Gamer is now available for an SRP of Php5,490.
