ASUS has finally launched the new ZenBook 13 (UX325) and ZenBook 14 (UX425) laptops in the Philippines. The two new laptops, which the company refers to as the “world’s thinnest 13- and 14-inch laptops with full I/O ports” measure only 13.9mm thin and weighs only about 1.07 kg.
Both the ZenBook 13 (UX325) and ZenBook 14 (UX425) feature a full range of I/O ports including a full-size HDMI port, two Thunderbolt 3 USB Type-C ports, a microSD card reader, and one USB Type-A port. Both laptops still feature the company’s NanoEdge display design that gives them a screen-to-body ratio of up to 90% as well as the company’s NumberPad 2.0 technology.
Apart from its NanoEdge display, the new ZenBook laptops also feature a new edge-to-edge keyboard design that maximizes the laptops real-estate for a more comfortable typing experience. The company’s ErgoLift hinge is also present in the two new laptops, which not only helps provide a more optimal angle for typing but also helps with cooling.
The ZenBook 13 (UX325) and ZenBook 14 (UX425) are powered by an Intel Core i5-1035G1 processor, Intel UHD Graphics, 8GB of 3200MHz LPDDR4x RAM, 512GB of PCIe 3.0 x2 NVMe SSD storage, and a 67 Wh lithium-polymer battery that offers a battery life of up 22 hours.
Other features of the new laptops include Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution display panels, WiFi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, an HD infrared webcam (with Windows Hello support), Harman Kardon certified audio, an ASUS SonicMaster stero audio system, and a built-in microphone array.
The new ASUS ZenBook 13 (UX325) is now available at ASUS concept stores and partner retailers as well as through the ASUS E-Store, Lazada, and Shopee. As for the ZenBook 14 (UX425), it will be available sometime in mid-August 2020. Both laptops are priced at PHP 54,995.
