ASUS Announces ROG Keris Wired, Wireless Gaming Mouse

ASUS has announced that its ROG Keris gaming mouse series, that includes both a wired and wireless model, will be releasing in the Philippines this month. The new gaming mouse features a 16,000 DPI, 400 IPS optical sensor with a polling rate of 1000Hz, the company’s push-fit switch sockets with ROG Micro Switches, ROG Omni mouse feet, ROG Paracord cable, Aura Sync RGB lighting, and more.

The ROG Keris features a simple outer shell and is equipped with non-slip left and right PBT mouse buttons for increased durability. It also features two removable thumb buttons that can be replaced with different colored buttons for additional personalization. The ROG Keris will come with black, grey, and pink thumb buttons.

Like several of the company’s previous gaming mice, the ROG Keris also features removable left and right mouse button switches which utilize the company’s push-fit switch sockets. For the ROG Keris, ASUS has included its new ROG Micro Switches that feature a lifespan of 70-million clicks and a gold-plated electro-junction for better durability and longevity.

Both the wired and wireless versions of the ROG Keris feature an internal honeycomb design to help keep its overall weight down. The ROG Keris Wireless weighs only 79 grams while the wired ROG Keris weighs just 62 grams.

The wireless version of the ROG Keris can be connected to a user’s PC or laptop via the detachable ROG Paracord USB cable, RF 2.4 GHz wireless, or Bluetooth LE. While the RF 2.4GHz wireless is the suitable connection type for gaming, the Bluetooth mode provides better battery life and will be fine for daily tasks.

The ASUS ROG Keris will be available in the Philippines sometime in the 3rd or 4th week of February and will be priced at PHP 4,690 for the wireless version and PHP 3,380 for the wired variant.
