ASUS has announced the release of its biggest and fastest 4K UHD FreeSyunc 2 HDR gaming monitor, the ROG Strix XG438Q.
The ROG Strix XG438Q features a 43-inch 4K UHD (3840×2160 pixels) panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz and support for AMD’s Radeon FreeSync 2 HDR technology. The display is also capable of DCI-P3 90% color gamut coverage a luminance of up to 700cd/m2, which gives the new monitor DisplayHDR 600 certification which is one of the higher DisplayHDR certification levels.
Other features of the ROG Strix XG438Q include the company’s GameFast Input technology, which helps reduce input lag, as well as an anti-glare coating to help keep the viewing experience consistent across several lighting conditions.
The new monitor is also equipped with 10W stereo speakers that can be controlled by the aforementioned remote, three HDMI 2.0 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 connector, a 3.5mm audio input port, a 3.5mm headphone port, and two USB 3.0 ports. It also comes with a remote control to quickly make adjustments to the monitor’s settings.
The ASUS ROG Strix XG438Q will be available sometime in September 2019 at an SRP of PHP 69,000.
