ASUS Announces ProArtist Awards 2022 Design Competition

ASUS has announced its ProArtist Awards 2022 global design competition, which gives both enthusiasts and professional to display their creativity for a chance to win prizes worth at least USD 20,000. The theme for this year’s competition is Explore Beyond the Limits and entries can be submitted from March 1 to May 15, 2022.

The ASUS ProArtist Awards 2022 is organized by ASUS in collaboration with Pantone, Calibrite, and the ArtCenter College of Design in California. The competition will feature four categories, including Photography, Graphic Design, Film, and Animation.

The entries for the competition will be evaluated and judged by a panel consisting of renowned content creators, industry professionals, ASUS ProArtists, and ASUS experts. Some of the panelists include, photographer Jordi Koalitic, 3D illustrator Josiah ‘Jazza’ Brooks, filmmaker Matti Haapoja, graphic designer Benjamin van Valen of Benny Productions, and 3D artist Nathan ‘Ducky 3D’ Duck, and Adobe’s Principal Director, Creative Cloud Evangelist, Terry White.

According to ASUS, 80% of the score will be awarded by the panel of judges while the final 20% will be determined by a public vote. A winner and a runner-up will be chosen for each of the four categories, along with a People’s Choice Award that will be chosen completely based on public voting. ASUS also plans to hold raffle draws for both contestants and public voters. The winners will be announced sometime in June 2022.

The total value of prizes for the ASUS ProArtist Awards 2022 will be over USD 100,000, with a cash prize of USD 10,000 for each of the four category winners and USD 5,000 for each of the runners-up. Winners and runners-up will also receive ASUS creator hardware including creator laptops from the ProArt Studiobook, Zenbook Pro, and Vivobook Pro series; ProArt displays; ProArt motherboards; and ProArt accessories.

Winners will also be given an ASUS ProArtist certificate, the potential opportunity to collaborate with ASUS on future design projects, and the option to turn their creation into an NFT, with ASUS offering a gas-fee rebate on NFT platforms as a bonus prize.
